Year In Review 2017: Didik-Kasih EduCare’s candidate Vinayagi.
Vinayagi was under Didik Kasih EduCare Program for a year, receiving a start up assistance of RM1500 and RM250 monthly study allowance in pursuing Diploma in Psychology.
Vinayagi has been through many hardship throughout her childhood and was resided at Rumah Ozanam until 17 years old. Coming from a challenging family background did not stop her in pursuing her dream, to receive a better education so that she could help more people in the future. Being the eldest in the family, she also took up the responsibility in taking care of her younger siblings who are still staying in a charity children’s home.
Through Didik-Kasih EduCare Program, Vinayagi got the opportunity to contribute back to her charity home by organizing a tour to MinNature museum for 24 children from Rumah Ozanam. Growing up in the same charity home, Vinayagi was like a big sister to the children. The group had a great bonding session at the same time had so much fun in exploring the miniature world..
Vinayagi later told us that it meant alot to her to be able to give back to her charity home. We wished her all the best in her studies and achieving her goal in lfie.
