On 28th Oct, 13 staffs from Datacom Malaysia has volunteered to join our Rakan Shopping Program. This round Rakan Shopping has benefited 10 underprivileged families from Flat Sri Kota, Cheras.
The company is very generous to sponsor each household RM150 of shopping vouchers to purchase groceries goods. As most of the families come from a lower income background and some have sick family members at home, the money has been utilized to buy important necessity items such rice, oil, flour, diapers, milk etc.
During the event, each volunteer was paired with a beneficiary to be a one day “anak angkat”. It was fun to see our beneficiaries had a great time with the volunteers.
